Hello everyone and welcome back for our April 2025 blogpost! This month we have some exciting updates including a flurry of new YouTube videos, a new social media account, and much more. So without further ado, lets begin!
Crystal Ignition LLC Officially Joins BlueSky!
Most of our readers will recall that back in January of this year we announced that Crystal Ignition LLC would move to Bluesky in February of this year. Following a series of delays due to the tariff situation here in the United States, Crystal Ignition LLC has officially joined Bluesky! Our Twitter/X account will remain active. However, expect all new updates to appear on Bluesky first as we build our follower base on the platform.
Gallery Page Spring Update!
We are saddened to announce that our long time Sound Mixer Demario Wilson has parted ways with Crystal Ignition LLC. We appreciate his contribution as one of the first contractors to work with the studio. To reflect this change his profile has been removed from our official gallery page.
CEO Taylor Coleman Joins Outschool!
We are excited to announce today that our CEO Taylor Coleman has joined the Outschool platform. He will be teaching a film course this upcoming summer to 9-12th grade students. For a long time our community has asked for new educational resources. This is our next step in our efforts to share our knowledge with the next generation of filmmakers. New YouTube Videos!
This Month We have a whopping five new YouTube videos! While the tariff situation here in the United States has hindered a number of our plans, we will continue to work to increase the amount of content we upload on a monthly basis. First up we have a reaction to Nintendo’s new Switch 2 console.
Next up we have have another reaction video to South Park’s season 27 teaser trailer.
Moving on we have a reaction video to Disney’s new Tron Ares reveal trailer.
Next we have a reaction video to Disney’s Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld trailer.
Finally, we have a reaction video to Bungie’s brand new Marathon reveal. Taylor reacted to both the trailer and gameplay overview videos in one setting.
April’s Book of the Month
Last but not least we’ve chosen Christoper Kenworthy’s Master Shots Vol 2 as April 2025’s book of the month. While our productions may be on hold due to unforeseen circumstances, many of you young filmmakers are still pushing ahead. We highly recommend this book if you are in the process of storyboarding or looking for new ideas to enhance your cinematography. As always this book can be purchased from our friends over at Books-A-Million if you’d like to support us here at the studio.
