Taylor John Coleman

CEO/Director 

The CEO, lead writer, and lead creative director at Crystal Ignition! Taylor earned his Associate in Arts degree with a career path in Film Studies from Santa Fe College in Gainesville Florida. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Film and Production from the University of North Florida, (with a minor in leadership from UNF’s Taylor Leadership Institute), and a Master of Advanced Study in Film and Media Studies from Arizona State University. He is currently a PhD student, graduate research assistant, and instructor at Georgia State University in the School of Film, Media, and Theatre’s Moving Image Studies doctoral program.  

Taylor is an award winning filmmaker, winning a DMOFF award in October of 2023 for his short documentary film Not Just Porn, a profile on Jacksonville native and acclaimed adult filmmaker Wakefield Poole. His last film, 2024’s The Coldest Warmth is Crystal Ignition LLC’s first film and currently holds all of our laurels and awards. Below is more information on the films Taylor has written and directed.
