Welcome back to our May blog post everyone! We have some small updates this month along with our first ever book of the month! Without further ado, let’s get started!

Ko-Fi Store Added To Front Page!

We’ve added a link to our official Ko-Fi store to the front page of our website. We understand that it’s looking pretty empty right now, but rest assured, we have some major updates coming to the store this summer and we are working to ensure a quality experience. We will alert the community on social media about updates regarding the store.

Studio Returns To Twitch!

We would like to thank everyone for being patient with us on our Twitch channel. Due to work on our app, The coldest Warmth, and future content we stepped away from Twitch for a while. Today we are happy to share that we are back to our regularly scheduled streams every Tuesday and Thursday. Don’t be shy and come tune in when you can. We are also open to any game suggestions from the community.

As usual we have to report on our latest YouTube Videos! We closed out April with a video about 5x documents every filmmaker should know about!

This month our first video is about 5x filmmaking tools we regret buying at the studio.

May’s Book of The Month!

We are proud to share our first ever book of the month! For those unaware, Crystal Ignition LLC is officially an affiliate partner of Books-A-Million! To celebrate and further help to educate new filmmakers, we’ve added a “book of the month” section to all blog posts going forward. To start things off we’ve chosen something light and fun in Pompo the Cinephile! Taking place in the fictional world of Nyallywood, the story follows Gene Fini (far left) in his pursuit to become a filmmaker. Under the tutelage of the famous producer Joel Davidovich “Pompo” Pomponette (center), Gene learns what it takes to make a great film. With a beautiful cast of characters and an even better story we hear at Crystal Ignition give this manga series and the film a 5/5 and highly recommend it to film fans and filmmakers new and old. The manga is split into three parts (Vol 1)(Vol 2)(Vol 3) and the film is also available at Books-A-Million!
