Happy Saturday everyone and welcome back for our May blog post! This month we have some website maintenance to go over as well as our usual monthly updates. We have a lot to discuss, so lets get started!
Website Patch Notes!
Did it seem like our website was frozen in time for a while? It felt that way to the team as well, so rejoice! The website has been updated with changes to our homepage, film slate, and affiliates & deals page. Changes include:
- Updated Pricing Menu 2024
- Updated film slate (current status of project pirouette updated as of May 14th, 2024)
- Gruv Entertainment Logo Updated on Affiliates and Deals Page
- Gallery page updated (CEO bio)
- Official App page temporarily removed (still under maintenance)
Among other smaller behind the scenes changes, we have temporarily taken down the official app page in preparation for our two year anniversary event this summer. We’ll have more to share at the event so stay tuned for more information!
New Youtube Videos!
As usual we have a few new YouTube videos to discuss! Last month we closed out April with an on-set reaction to Hasbro’s trailer for their new film Transformers One coming in September of this year!
Next up we have our first video of May with a discussion! Our host shared his opinion on whether or not the film business is on the decline.
Our most recent video is yet another on-set reaction, this time to the trailer for Francis Ford Coppola’s new film Megalopolis coming in 2024 and a reaction to EA Sport’s College Football 25 coming this summer!
Nearing Our Goal On Instagram!
Last month we were excited to report that we reached or goal of getting 50 subscribers on YouTube before our two year anniversary event. Today we are happy to report that we are only five subscribers away from getting 100 subscribers on Instagram! We already reached 100 on Twitter, so we know we can get there! Thank you all so much for the support and please continue to help us reach our goal by following our account if you have not done so already!
Voice Actress Ariane Marchese Joins The Cast of The Coldest Warmth Coming This Summer!
We have some really cool updates this month regarding The Coldest Warmth. Singer and Voice actress Ariana Marchese joins the core cast and her voice will be featured in the film! Ariane has voiced an astonishing amount of cool characters including Fumitsuki in Dislyte. We are super excited to have her aboard and confident in her performance. Stay tuned for more information about the film as we approach its release.
Second Annual Manga May!
Can you believe that it’s been a whole year since our first ever manga May! We can’t either but we’re so excited to share our selection for 2024. For this years manga May, we’ve selected the 2005 anime series Eureka Seven. the series follows fourteen year old Renton Thurston and his coming of age in the pursuit of his love interest, the enigmatic blue-haired girl Eureka. The original manga spans six volumes (eight if you count the two prequel volumes that tie into the video games). The original anime itself spans 50 extraordinary episodes, spawning a sequel series Eureka Seven Astral Ocean and four movies! As usual, all six volumes of the original manga can be purchased from our trusted friends at Books-A-Million. Below you’ll find links to all six volumes.
