Welcome back to our June blogpost everyone! We have some updates today about our operating hours along with some other announcements. without further ado, lets get started!
Studio Going on Vacation
It’s summer! During this time of the year we like to take a step back and relax. June also happens to be our CEO’s birthday month! As such, starting June 18th the studio will be closed. Customers can still schedule appointments but we will not be shooting until after July 5th. Our final regularly scheduled Youtube video for June will still release. Our Twitch schedule will also remain the same so feel free to tune in and hang out!

A New Affiliate Appears!
Are you surprised? Because we sure are! Our new friends over at ReflektSabers reached out to us and we are so excited to join their community. For those unaware, ReflektSabers makes battle ready “lightsaber” props for cosplayers and fans of the Star Wars franchise. Last but not least, we have our book of the month for June 2023. This month we’re recommending The Story of Film by Mark Cousins. This book is a comprehensive history of all things film. Starting from 1885 to present day, this book covers every major era of cinema and explores international cinema as well as American film. We here at Crystal Ignition highly recommend this book for anyone seeking to understand the deep history behind filmmaking and how it has evolved to form what so many around the world love today. We also recommend watching the nine-part documentary also released by Mark Cousins. It’s over fifteen hours of pure awesomeness!
