The Devil Went Down To Georgia! 2026 Company Update

January 31st, 2026

Welcome back everyone for our first blog post of 2026! This month we return from our 6 month long hiatus! We’ve got some exciting news coming out of Atlanta Georgia, alongside our regular company updates. We have news concerning our Youtube content, future plans, and much more. Without further ado, let’s dive in!

The Devil Goes Down To Georgia!

We are proud to announce that our CEO Taylor Coleman was accepted into Georgia State University’s Moving Image Studies PhD Program! Housed in GSU’s School of Film, Media, and Theatre, Taylor joins an elite team of film and media scholars as a Graduate Research Assistant and instructor. He is currently teaching a History of Motion Picture course for undergraduate students. We are excited to cheer for the Panthers and look forward to their success!

CEO Taylor Coleman Becomes A National Mobile Cinema Lab Film Educator!

We are proud to share that our CEO and host Taylor Coleman Became a National Mobile Cinema Lab Film Educator! The Mobile Cinema Lab (MCL) program is ran by the nonprofit film festival SeriesFest based out of Colorado. The program brings the latest film production skills and techniques to cities around the United States. Just like the team here at Crystal Ignition, Taylor holds a strong commitment to the idea that film is for everyone and he stepped away from the studio to teach production last July in downtown Atlanta at the Fulton County Library. To learn more about the festival and support the nonprofit you can do so at this link. We also encourage our community in Atlanta and beyond to support their local library system.

Three-Year Anniversary Officially Canceled

On a much more disappointing note, the studio had made the difficult decision to cancel last years’ anniversary event. Due to the unprecedented events taking place in the United States as well as our hosts busy schedule we decided to cancel our yearly event. Instead we had a channel update posted to our Youtube channel! We will have more to share on the announcements we had planned in our next blog post.

Crystal Ignition LLC Surpasses 75 Subscribers!

Moving on to more positive news, on July 3rd, 2025 Crystal Ignition LLC’s Youtube channel surpassed 75 subscribers! As of today the channel sits at 77 subscribers! While production was halted we are still proud of the progress we made last year. For 2026 our goal will still be to surpass 100 subscribers. As promised we will hold a livestream once we pass 100 subscribers.

2026 Roadmap

To end our first post of the year we’d like to focus on our future plans. First, we would like to reassure the community that while Crystal Ignition LLC has had to scale back its operations, we are still committed to and working diligently to expand our brand, diversify our catalog, and return to a consistent schedule of operations. Our host recorded a video explaining our silence in December of last year. For the first quarter of 2026 our goals are as follows:

  • January – Update the Crystal Ignition LLC Website
  • February – Update our associated social media websites
  • March – Return to Youtube with new shorts and weekly videos

In closing, we understand that our unforeseen absence has been perplexing and frustrating for our community, but we remain committed to our original mission and will soon return to our regular operations. Have a good day or night wherever you are and we’ll return next month on February 18th for our February blog post.
